Money is deducted from your wallet for every chat message you send according to the chat rate of the other user. The helper is not charged any money for responding to your chat messages, so you don't get any money when he sends you a message.
For voice and video calls, the money is deducted from your wallet every minute while you are on the call according to the set call rates of the helper. Your call will disconnect automatically if your balance goes lower than the rate. The caller always has to pay the receiver, so if your call gets disonnected in the middle and then the helper calls you, then the helper starts getting charged per minute according to your rates. A Stripe transaction fees of 2.9% + 30¢ is deducted from the amount you add. So if you add $10 to your account, you'll get $9.41 in your wallet. The price is the same for all cards. You can transfer it to your bank account or you can transfer it to your friend. There are no charges applicable in both cases. So if you send $10 to your bank account, $10 is sent to your bank account. Same is the case with transfer to friend.

You are charged according to the rates of the person you are sending message to. Everyone has the option to set their chat and call rates. If the receiver's chat rate is $0.05 per message then that much amount of money gets deducted from your wallet for every message you send. The receiver is not charged for replying to your chat messages whatever your chat rates might be.

You are charged according to the rates of the person you are having voice or video call with. Everyone has the option to set their voice and video call rates. If the receiver's voice/video call rate is $0.1 per minute then that much amount of money gets deducted from your wallet every minute while you are on the voice/video call. The receiver is not charged for receiving your voice or video call whatever your voice/video call rates might be.
